Summer Festivities










Hi Loves! Happy Monday to you all! Today I am sharing some pics that we took while at our local Summerfest Carnival a few weeks ago. It has been a tradition of ours to go ever since we got married! It’s an excuse to get out of the house and do things we typically don’t do on a date. Usually, we get silly henna tattoos, cheat on our diet and sometimes buy little trinkets and play games. This year they had one of our favorite local groups Gentri perform for free! If you haven’t heard of Gentri, then go here and educate yourself! ;) They are such a funny group of guys! Their songs are more on the easy listening, kind of like a Josh Groban vibe, but they are just a bunch of goofballs! So it was great being able to walk around, eat yummy food (which we later regretted) and listen to Gentri sing! It was the perfect summer night!  

Summer brings such a laid back, relaxed vibe to our household and I love it. I think it’s because of the extra vitamin D we get from the sunshine, which makes us just overall happier. A bit ago, we got the cutest little grill that we absolutely LOVE using! It’s been the perfect little grill for our dinners and makes us feel so “grown up” having it! One of our new favorite summertime tradition, has been to wait till the sun is just about to go down and we get a blanket and lie outside and watch the clouds and sunset and just talk about our day and unwind. It’s during that time of day when it’s the perfect temperature and is just so relaxing!
